Vincent van Gogh
& The Beauty of Lent
On this year’s journey to Easter, let Vincent van Gogh be your guide.
The son of a Christian pastor, Vincent set out to be a preacher himself, but his ministry eventually took the form of nearly 900 paintings shimmering with passion, beauty, and color.
In this devotional, biblical texts and Van Gogh’s paintings and letters throw light on each other, pointing toward simple, powerful Lenten practices.
